Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
- Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
- Support safe patient transfers and mobility, always prioritizing dignity
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care delivered
- Follow infection control protocols and help keep the environment safe
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure smooth, patient-centered care transitions
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification in good standing
- CPR/BLS certification required or willingness to obtain
- Prior CNA experience preferred; per-diem/newer CNAs are welcome to apply
- Ability to work a 12-hour day shift and handle physical aspects of care
- Valid ID and ability to pass required background and health screenings
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited CNA program
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong fundamentals in patient care and activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Comfortable taking and documenting vital signs and observations
- Good communication skills for clear handoffs and teamwork
- Knowledge of basic infection control and safety procedures
- Reliable time management and the ability to follow care plans
