Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care to patients with professionalism and respect
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and mobility
• Monitor and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
• Support safe transfers and positioning to promote comfort and prevent injury
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control procedures
• Document patient care activities clearly and communicate effectively with caregivers and families

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (required)
• Valid authorization to practice in California (or ability to obtain it)
• Comfortable providing hands-on patient care and working as part of a care team
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work a 12-hour day shift
• Strong communication skills and a caring bedside manner

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Basic patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Taking and recording vital signs accurately
• Infection control and safe patient handling
• Clear documentation and timely communication with nursing staff
• Time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs
