Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care as a Certified Nursing Assistant
- Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
- Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control protocols
- Support nursing staff with timely, accurate documentation
- Communicate clearly and kindly with patients, families, and coworkers to enhance patient experience
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification in the state of California
- Comfortable working night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred or willing to obtain
- Prior experience in long-term care or inpatient settings is a plus
- Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass background and health screenings
- Reliable, compassionate, and a team player
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong patient care and bedside manners
- Ability to take and document accurate vital signs
- Familiarity with ADLs, safe patient transfers, and mobility assistance
- Basic charting and communication skills
- Time management and ability to prioritize during busy night shifts
- Collaborative mindset and receptiveness to feedback
