Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, approximately 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $27 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Schedule and coordinate outpatient surgical procedures for about 20 surgeons across multiple specialties
Act as a key liaison between surgeons offices, patients, anesthesia providers, and clinical staff
Ensure all cases align perfectly with ASC policies, block utilization, and surgeon availability
Masterfully manage schedule adjustments, cancellations, and same-day add-ons for seamless patient flow
Collaborate with anesthesia and nursing leaders to maximize daily case volume and room efficiency
Maintain spot-on scheduling data in the ASC system
Uphold top compliance with regulations like HIPAA, CMS, and accreditation standards
Deliver outstanding customer service as the friendly face of the ASC
Tackle additional administrative tasks with flexibility and sharp judgment

Qualifications

Experience in surgical scheduling or outpatient surgery center operations preferred
Strong organizational skills for a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication for liaising with multiple teams and patients

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; administrative or healthcare-related training a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in scheduling systems
Knowledge of regulatory standards including HIPAA and accreditation requirements
Customer service excellence
Flexibility and sound judgment under pressure
