Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver precise radiographic examinations of all body parts for spot-on diagnostic interpretation
Apply smart radiation protection principles with professional judgment
Perform diagnostic medical radiography across departments and areas
Maintain accurate patient records and departmental quality assurance
Assist with CT and interventional procedures including equipment care and sterile techniques
Pursue continuing education and adapt to new imaging modalities
Step up as department lead in supervisor's absence and handle stress like a pro

Qualifications

Current ARRT in Radiography certification
Clinical competency within 3 months of hire and every three years
Experience performing all diagnostic exams in assigned modality
ARRT certifications in additional modalities like CT, MR, MG, NM for advanced levels

Education

Current ARRT in Radiography

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of growth and development principles across all ages from newborn to geriatric
Skills in radiographic exams, diagnostic imaging, and radiation protection
Competency in CT/interventional procedures, venipuncture goals, contrast protocols, and sterile technique
Ability to assess patient needs, alter protocols for pediatrics and geriatrics, and work under stress
