Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver precise radiographic examinations across all body parts for vital diagnostic insights
Apply expert judgment and radiation protection principles during procedures
Perform diagnostic medical radiography in the department and beyond
Maintain accurate patient records and departmental quality assurance
Pursue ongoing education to stay at the forefront of imaging technology
Assist with patient transfers and step up as department lead when needed
Master CT and interventional procedures including contrast management and sterile techniques

Qualifications

Current ARRT in Radiography certification
Clinical competency within 3 months of hire and every three years
Experience performing all diagnostic exams in assigned modality
Tech levels based on multi-modality certifications (CT, MR, MG, NM)
Ability to respond to on-call within 20 minutes

Education

Current ARRT in Radiography

Knowledge & Skills

Radiographic examination and diagnostic exams
Radiation protection principles
Patient care across all age groups from newborn to geriatric
CT and interventional procedures including venipuncture goals and sterile technique
Equipment care, record maintenance, and quality control
