Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise approximately 45 FTEs across Plant Operations, Maintenance, and Environmental Services with inspiring direction
• Direct maintenance activities on utility systems to ensure uninterrupted heat, steam, electric power, gas, and oxygen for patient care
• Inspect equipment and oversee preventative maintenance to uphold top operational standards
• Ensure compliance with NFPA, OSHA, EPA, CMS, and local codes while managing outside contractors
• Act as a vital liaison with departments to assess needs and craft action plans that deliver results
• Set clear customer service expectations for staff complete with tailored training plans
• Address customer and employee concerns promptly and professionally to foster a positive environment

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of personnel management experience
• Thorough knowledge of electricity, electronics, plumbing, carpentry, boiler operation, HVAC, and general building maintenance
• Familiarity with autoclaving, bio-waste, life safety codes, construction phasing, and environmental services operations
• Ability to apply engineering principles to detect and repair malfunctioning equipment or systems
• Willingness to relocate to a rural area

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Business Administration or related field preferred
