Speech Language Pathologist - LTC
Location: Plymouth, Massachusetts

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: 8 hour day shifts, Monday-Friday (35 hours/week)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders while crafting personalized care plans
- Apply standardized assessments and evidence-based practices to deliver impactful clinical interventions
- Monitor patient progress, adjust treatments, and evaluate outcomes to ensure the best results
- Offer expert consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and team members
- Collaborate seamlessly with supervisors and health teams on progress, barriers, and plans
- Document comprehensively in electronic systems and provide thorough discharge summaries
- Participate actively in care conferences, trainings, and meetings to elevate patient care
- Supervise and mentor CFY or student SLPs while adhering to ASHA and state standards
Qualifications
- 1+ year of SLP experience (new grads welcome with Level II experience)
- LTC or Rehab experience to hit the ground running
- Active MA State License
- CCC certified SLP
- Commitment to ASHA and state practice standards
Education
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (implied by CCC certification)
- Active ASHA certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
- Proficiency with standardized assessments and evidence-based interventions
- Strong documentation and electronic record-keeping skills
- Effective communication and team collaboration abilities
- Supervisory experience with CFY or student SLPs
