Roles & Responsibilities

• Research and investigate emerging threats and exploits to keep systems secure
• Conduct log analysis and network forensic investigations like a digital detective
• Design and execute security projects that boost detection and response
• Collect threat intelligence and automate systems to track adversaries
• Develop smart alerting strategies to spot unusual behavior fast
• Perform network security scans and penetration tests to uncover vulnerabilities
• Conduct technical risk assessments and implement corrective actions
• Design, implement, and support cutting-edge Information Security tools and infrastructure

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems
• Six years of experience in information systems security with focus on mobile device security, endpoint protection, wireless protection, vulnerability management, incident response, threat research, and cyber intelligence analysis
• Current CompTIA Security+ certification or equivalent
• CISSP highly preferred
• Knowledge of NIST, HITRUST, PCI, and HIPAA Security Rule
• Professional system administration experience across multiple platforms

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems (REQUIRED)

• Local area networks and Microsoft Active Directory/GPO
• Data Loss Prevention, Encryption Technologies, IDS/IPS, VPN
• Linux and Windows Operating Systems, Communication Protocols
• Multi-factor authentication, Cloud Access Security Broker
• Endpoint Detection and Response, SIEM Tools
• Network and vulnerability assessments, malware analysis, threat intelligence
• Anti-virus software, intrusion detection, firewalls, content filtering
