Roles & Responsibilities

Assess, plan, and implement nursing care for medical-surgical and telemetry patients
Monitor cardiac rhythms and telemetry readings, promptly recognizing and responding to changes
Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and discharge plans
Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately

Qualifications

Current California RN license in good standing
BLS certification required
ACLS certification preferred
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Previous med-surg or telemetry experience a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of medical-surgical nursing principles and telemetry monitoring
Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills
IV therapy and medication administration skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
