Roles & Responsibilities

Perform precise echocardiogram studies including Transthoracic 2-D, M-Mode, Color-flow Doppler, Transesophageal, Exercise stress and pharmacological echocardiography to aid physicians in accurate diagnoses
Conduct essential cardiac tests like EKG, Holter monitoring and analysis, and Cardiac stress tests with top-notch accuracy
Masterfully operate echocardiographs, cardiac stress systems, electrocardiographs, Holter monitors and computer analysis for optimal results
Deliver age-specific care to patients from neonatal to adult, making a real difference in their cardiac health journey
Serve as a trusted resource to physicians, nurses and hospital staff while upholding the highest standards of care

Qualifications

Registered Cardiac Sonographer certification
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Successful completion of certification program or two years hands-on echocardiography experience
Preferred: Extensive hospital experience in echocardiography, especially pediatric and neonatal

Education

High School Diploma or GED
Preferred: Certificate Program in Cardiovascular Sonography

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in echocardiogram studies and cardiac diagnostic testing
Proficient with Transthoracic 2-D, M-Mode, Color-flow Doppler, Transesophageal and stress echocardiography
Skilled in EKG, Holter prep and analysis, Cardiac stress tests
Strong knowledge of echocardiographs, cardiac stress systems, electrocardiographs, Holter monitors and computer analysis
Age-specific care for neonatal, pediatric and adult patients
