Roles & Responsibilities

Manage the Cost Accounting system to drive service line profitability analysis
Oversee productivity systems and deliver critical reports to agencies like S&P and Fitch
Lead utilization of Decision Support for strategic financial planning projects
Publish insightful monthly P&L statements and physician practice scorecards
Develop financial feasibility templates using STRATA to calculate ROI, NPV, and IRR for capital projects
Establish leadership meetings to review profitability and craft performance improvement plans
Train managers on productivity software and handle ad hoc reporting needs
Mentor decision support team members and oversee key software implementations

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required
Minimum 10 years experience in cost accounting, budgeting and decision support
Hands-on experience with STRATA financial software or similar
Healthcare experience essential
Preferred: Master's in Business or Health Administration
Preferred: Financial or healthcare certifications
Preferred: Hospital contracting, reimbursement, bundled payments knowledge

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
Preferred: Master's Degree in Business Administration or Health Administration

Healthcare finance including reimbursement and bundled payments
Productivity software and financial metrics like ROI, NPV, IRR
