Roles & Responsibilities

Accurately collect and document vital patient information to keep charts impeccable
Ensure medication and immunization records stay current and reliable
Spot signs needing quick action and respond with confidence
Transport patients smoothly within the facility
Manage patient care duties while keeping clinic flow seamless
Report changes in patient conditions or incidents promptly
Set up equipment for exams and procedures with precision
Assist with treatments, minor surgeries, and specimen collection
Perform point-of-care testing and radiology exams as trained
Provide immunizations and basic life support as needed
Support providers and nurses to deliver top-notch care

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or EMT III Current AK Certification or Current AK Paramedic Certification or Nursing Degree from accredited institution
Experience in healthcare setting preferred

Education

High school diploma or GED required
Nursing Degree from accredited institution optional

Knowledge & Skills

Clinic procedures for patient visits and treatments
Age-appropriate vital signs and behaviors
Life-saving procedures
Medical terminology
Communication and customer service skills
Computer skills for medical databases
Operation of medical equipment like blood pressure cuffs and EKG machines
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
