Roles & Responsibilities

Lead daily operations in the women's health radiology section with confidence and care
Perform advanced mammography imaging procedures following strict protocols for top-notch diagnostic results
Champion radiation safety and ALARA standards to protect patients and staff
Educate patients warmly, verify orders, and document histories for seamless Radiologist interpretation
Troubleshoot equipment like a pro and coordinate maintenance to keep things running smoothly
Drive quality improvements, training, and compliance with FDA guidelines and accreditation needs
Assist across modalities, train colleagues, and pitch in on clerical duties to support the team

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
ARRT registration in Radiology (R) and Mammography (M)
Current BLS certification or obtain within 90 days
At least 18 years old, legally authorized to work in the US, pass background and drug screens

Education

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in mammography imaging and radiologic procedures
Proficiency with CT, MRI, DEXA, PACS, and RIS/HIS
Strong radiation safety practices and ALARA standards
Equipment operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance savvy
Patient education, record-keeping, and workflow optimization
