Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM with a 30-minute unpaid lunch

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to telemetry patients including post-surgical, stroke, and respiratory cases
Interpret cardiac telemetry strips and document findings each shift
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to manage patients with diabetes, GI conditions, and COVID
Support patients through orthopedic and spinal surgical recovery journeys
Float to East Campus or PCU when needed to support facility-wide care
Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner electronic health records

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Experience reading basic telemetry strips
Background with general surgical, orthopedic, CVA, and TIA patients preferred
Cerner experience recommended due to minimal orientation period

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry interpretation and strip reading
Care for post-surgical and neurological patients
Managing patients on set-rate drips like Diltiazem
Working with BIPAP, CPAP, and high-flow oxygen equipment
Adapting to floating assignments across campuses
