Roles & Responsibilities

Assist in rooms and patient care to complement staffing needs while managing daily operations
Coordinate and delegate patient care in an organized manner, stepping in as supervisor when needed
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes
Evaluate sonograms for technical quality and adjust machine settings for accurate images
Perform equipment calibrations and adjustments while selecting appropriate technical factors
Support staff education, hiring, and orientation programs to promote professional growth

Qualifications

Must be certified and hold current registration with the ARDMS or the ARRT in Sonography
Strong leadership skills with the ability to coordinate patient care and resolve complex situations
Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams

Knowledge & Skills

Sonography expertise with ARDMS or ARRT certification
Ability to evaluate sonograms for technical quality
Knowledge of correct machine settings and imaging modes
Equipment calibration and adjustment skills
Leadership and team coordination abilities
