Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Wednesday-Sunday, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Nights

Hours per Week: 60

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assess patients using age-specific data to understand their physical and psychosocial status
Plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care delivery in the ICU
Perform ongoing assessments and complete required documentation within organizational standards
Document observations, physical examinations, lab results, and patient responses to interventions
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify patient needs and achieve optimal outcomes
Support fellow staff in delivering excellent patient care
Provide patient teaching and discharge planning to promote lasting wellness

Qualifications

Active Illinois nursing license required
2+ years of ICU experience
Current American Heart Association BLS certification
Current American Heart Association ACLS certification (or obtain within 30 days of start)
Strong assessment and documentation skills

Knowledge & Skills

Patient assessment and age-specific care
Care planning and multidisciplinary collaboration
Accurate documentation and observation skills
ICU procedures and patient monitoring
