Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM and 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients on a fast-paced Progressive Care Unit
Monitor and titrate cardiac drips including Cardizem and beta-blockers while ensuring patient safety
Administer seizure medications and manage continuous EEG monitoring for patients with complex needs
Collaborate with charge nurses and patient care techs to maintain optimal 1:4-5 nurse-to-patient ratios
Float to medical floors, ICU, or rehab units as needed while delivering consistent, patient-centered care
Demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills to support positive outcomes in a dynamic environment

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum one year of recent PCU or telemetry experience preferred
Valid driver's license for radius verification at time of submittal

Knowledge & Skills

Strong cardiac monitoring and drip titration skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Critical thinking and quick problem-solving mindset
Positive attitude with a genuine desire to help others
