Location: Omaha, Nebraska

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM and 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-acuity care to ICU patients with complex conditions
Titrate critical drips including vasopressors, insulin, and sedatives to ensure patient stability
Interpret telemetry and respond swiftly to cardiac changes
Collaborate with intensivists and the care team to deliver life-saving interventions
Float to PCU and medical floors as needed to support hospital-wide patient care

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum one year of recent ICU experience preferred
Strong telemetry interpretation and drip titration skills

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in managing vents, BiPAPs, and high-flow oxygen
Ability to interpret telemetry strips independently
Comfortable with 1:2 ICU ratios and occasional medical/PCU assignments
Skilled in caring for COPD, pneumonia, CVA, DKA, sepsis, CHF, and STEMI patients
