Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12:00 PM - 12:30 AM, every third weekend and every other holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality emergency care to patients of all ages
Respond quickly and confidently to critical situations in a fast-paced ER environment
Collaborate with physicians and care teams to deliver seamless patient experiences
Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and support life-saving interventions
Educate patients and families with empathy and clarity during stressful moments

Qualifications

Active RN license in Iowa or compact state
BLS, PALS, ACLS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required
Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills in emergency settings
Ability to thrive in high-acuity, fast-paced environments

Knowledge & Skills

Emergency nursing protocols and rapid response techniques
Patient assessment and triage expertise
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Comfort working with diverse patient populations
