Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, every third weekend and every other holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate emergency care to patients of all ages
Respond quickly and effectively to critical situations
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to deliver excellent outcomes
Monitor patient conditions and administer medications safely
Educate patients and families about treatment plans and next steps

Qualifications

Active RN license in Iowa or compact state
BLS, PALS, ACLS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required
Previous emergency department experience preferred
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills

Knowledge & Skills

Emergency nursing protocols and procedures
Patient assessment and triage
Medication administration and monitoring
Electronic health record documentation
Team collaboration and communication
