Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, every third weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality emergency care to patients of all ages
Collaborate with physicians and care teams to deliver timely interventions
Monitor patient conditions and respond swiftly to critical changes
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and next steps
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with safety protocols

Qualifications

Active RN license in Iowa or compact state
BLS, PALS, ACLS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required
Previous emergency department experience preferred
Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills

Knowledge & Skills

Emergency nursing protocols and rapid response techniques
Pediatric and adult patient assessment
Electronic health record documentation
Infection control and patient safety standards
