Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, no set schedules

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor cardiac rhythms remotely for up to 60 patients using advanced technology
Recognize and report dangerous rhythm changes quickly and accurately
Collaborate with RN staff to ensure timely interventions and positive patient outcomes
Follow established protocols while working in a centralized virtual command center
Strive to improve department metrics and deliver exceptional patient care

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent related work experience in cardiac monitoring
Graduation from an accredited program including EKG Interpretation
Must pass Advanced Dysrhythmia exam (lethal rhythms are pass/fail with one chance)
Strong candidates may have the 3-month education requirement waived
