Location: Baudette, Minnesota

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM and 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, every 3rd weekend and 3rd holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care across both MedSurg and ER settings, adapting quickly to patient needs
Titrate critical medications including insulin, amiodarone, cardizem, and levophed with precision
Respond swiftly to codes for cardiorespiratory, stroke, and sepsis situations
Manage trauma response and stabilize patients for potential transfer via flight transport
Admit, discharge, and transfer patients while maintaining excellent documentation
Perform EKGs, interpret tele strips, and manage PICC/Ports with confidence
Collaborate closely with a small, dedicated team to deliver high-quality care

Qualifications

Active RN license in Minnesota or compact license
BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
Minimum ER experience essential for consideration
Comfortable working independently with minimal staffing
Experience with Meditech EMR preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Titrate drips including insulin, amiodarone, cardizem, and levophed
Start IVs and manage PICC/Ports confidently
Respond to codes and trauma situations with calm expertise
Interpret tele strips and perform EKGs independently
Navigate EMTALA regulations and coordinate flight transfers
Adapt quickly between MedSurg and ER environments
