Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM with 24/7 call coverage including weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $102 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Lead and oversee both the Cath Lab and ICU departments with confidence and care
Build a positive, supportive culture that empowers your nursing team
Provide bedside procedure support and moderate sedation for cardiac, vascular, and EP cases
Titrate vasoactive drips and manage complex ICU patients with skill and compassion
Mentor staff and enhance nursing competencies across both units
Coordinate pre-procedure prep and recovery for patients in the 3-bay pre/post area
Float to support other departments when needed and be a true team player
Monitor telemetry strips and ensure safe, high-quality care at every step

Qualifications

Active RN license in Kansas or compact license
BLS and ACLS certifications required
RCIS, NIHSS, TNCC, and CRRT competency preferred
3 years of RN experience with at least 1 year in management or clinical leadership
Fluoro license preferred for technical staff
Critical care and telemetry experience strongly valued

Knowledge & Skills

Critical Care and Telemetry expertise
Vasoactive drip management
Moderate sedation administration
Cardiac, vascular, and EP procedures
ICU patient management including vents, CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen
Strong leadership and team-building abilities
