Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate cardiac telemetry care to patients recovering from MI, CP, and lung transplants
Monitor and interpret EKGs using Philips equipment while delivering safe, high-quality nursing care
Administer non-titrating drips and manage CPAP and high-flow oxygen therapies
Collaborate with a dedicated charge nurse and PCT support team to maintain excellent patient ratios
Float to sister telemetry units when needed, bringing your expertise wherever it's most valuable
Complete required SIMs Lab training and demonstrate sterile technique during skills validation

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Level 1 trauma experience strongly preferred
Strong EKG interpretation skills with ability to pass dysrhythmia exam
Comfortable working with Cerner EMR and Philips telemetry monitors
Must have reliable transportation and meet facility appearance standards

Knowledge & Skills

Cardiac step-down and post-surgical patient care
EKG interpretation and dysrhythmia recognition
Non-titrating drip management and oxygen therapy
Sterile field maintenance and central line care
Cerner documentation and Philips monitoring systems
Floating across multiple telemetry units with ease
