Location: Davenport, Iowa

End Date: 09-13-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Variable shifts starting between 6:00 AM - 8:00 AM, possible on-call requirements

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $54 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist surgeons during orthopedic procedures including spine, knee, and hip surgeries
Prepare and maintain sterile surgical environments with precision and care
Operate and support the Mako Robotic System for advanced joint replacements
Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless procedures and patient safety
Handle surgical instruments and supplies with expertise throughout each case

Qualifications

Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential
BLS certification required
Strong experience in orthopedic and spine surgery
Hands-on experience with the Mako Robotic System preferred
Ability to work variable shifts and take on-call as needed

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in orthopedic surgical procedures
Proficiency with spine surgery techniques
Experience operating the Mako Robotic System
Strong sterile technique and instrument knowledge
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
