Location: Davenport, Iowa

Start Date: 08-06-2026

End Date: 06-09-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 4 days a week, 10-hour shifts with variable start times between 6:00 AM - 8:00 AM, plus 1 day of on-call each week and every 4th weekend

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $54 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist surgeons during orthopedic and robotic procedures with precision and care
Prepare and maintain sterile fields for spine, Mako knee, and Mako hip surgeries
Collaborate with the OR team to ensure smooth, efficient case flow
Handle specialized robotic equipment and instruments with confidence
Support patient safety by following strict sterile technique and protocols

Qualifications

Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential
BLS certification required
Spine, Mako knee, and Mako hip experience preferred
Ability to take call and work every 4th weekend

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of orthopedic and robotic surgical procedures
Familiarity with Mako robotic systems for knee and hip replacements
Excellent sterile technique and instrument handling
Ability to anticipate surgeon needs during complex cases
