Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts with every other weekend requirement (Days: Saturday-Sunday; Nights: Friday-Saturday) and holiday rotation shared with permanent staff

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $77 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert care to mothers and babies throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum
Independently attend deliveries and circulate during C-sections with confidence
Assist with catching and transitioning newborns while ensuring their safety and comfort
Titrate critical drips such as Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin to support optimal patient outcomes
Collaborate with a friendly, feedback-driven leadership team committed to quality care
Adapt to unit workflows and policies while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care

Qualifications

Active RN license in Washington or compact license
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Intermediate or advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring preferred
Minimum 2 years of LDRP experience; candidates with 1 year and multiple prior travel assignments may be considered
Comfortable attending deliveries independently and circulating in C-sections
No first-time travelers

Knowledge & Skills

LDRP nursing expertise
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to manage high-risk pregnancies including preeclampsia, diabetes, and substance use
Experience with Centricity perinatal EFM system
Team collaboration and adaptability
