End Date: 09-07-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM with varied start times including 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM, or 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM; occasional weekend shifts may be required with a compensatory day off during the week

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional physical therapy care across acute care, ICU, and med-surg units
Provide specialized treatment for orthopedic and total joint replacement patients
Manage therapy for ventilated patients in the ICU with confidence and skill
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Support patients through their recovery journey in cardiology and oncology units
Adapt treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient population

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapist license in California
Current BLS certification
Minimum 2 years of acute care physical therapy experience
Strong background in orthopedics, total joints, and ICU care
Experience with ventilator management and diverse patient populations
Cerner EMR experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Acute care physical therapy across multiple specialties
Orthopedic and total joint rehabilitation expertise
ICU and ventilator patient management
Med-surg, oncology, and cardiology patient care
Cerner electronic medical records system
Ability to work independently and adapt quickly
