Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM or 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to laboring patients with 1:1 ratios
Support mothers through postpartum recovery and antepartum needs
Titrate critical drips including Pitocin, Magnesium, and Procardia
Monitor and care for patients with hypertension or diabetes during pregnancy
Collaborate with a dedicated Charge Nurse on every shift
Deliver exceptional care in a unit recognized for outstanding patient experience

Qualifications

Active RN license with minimum 3 years of labor and delivery experience
BLS and NRP certifications required
Valid driver's license for radius verification
Ability to pass skills exam with 90% or higher during orientation

Knowledge & Skills

Labor and Delivery expertise
Postpartum and Antepartum Care
Titration of drips including Pitocin, Magnesium, and Procardia
Comfortable with 1:3 and 1:1 patient ratios per AWHONN guidelines
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
