Location: Bakersfield, California

Start Date: 05-28-2026

End Date: 08-27-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shifts with rotating weekday call after 4:30 PM, rotating weekend call, and rotating holiday on-call

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform cardiac imaging, SPECT, bone scans, bleed studies, and gastric emptying procedures
Deliver high-quality nuclear medicine studies while ensuring patient comfort and safety
Operate GE equipment and utilize Radnet and Merge Unity systems for accurate imaging and documentation
Collaborate with the lead technologist and in-house radiologist to support excellent patient outcomes
Maintain compliance with BLS and California NMTL requirements throughout all procedures

Qualifications

Current California NMTL license required
BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of nuclear medicine experience
Comfortable floating to nearby facility when needed

Knowledge & Skills

Cardiac Imaging, SPECT, Bone Scan, Bleed Studies, Gastric Emptying
Proficiency with Radnet and Merge Unity systems
Experience with GE nuclear medicine equipment
Strong attention to detail and patient care focus
