Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate cardiac step-down care to patients recovering from MI, CP, and lung transplants
Monitor cardiac rhythms on Philips telemetry and interpret EKGs with precision
Administer non-titrating drips and manage CPAP and high-flow oxygen therapies
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
Float to sister telemetry units when census demands, expanding your skill set
Maintain sterile technique during Foley insertions and central line dressing changes

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum one year of Level 1 trauma cardiac telemetry experience
Cerner EMR experience preferred
Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam with two attempts allowed
Must have reliable transportation for travel team assignments

Knowledge & Skills

Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation and EKG analysis
Competence with Philips telemetry monitoring systems
Understanding of sterile field protocols for Foley and central line procedures
Ability to manage CPAP, high-flow oxygen, and non-titrating drips
Comfort floating across multiple telemetry units
Professional appearance standards including natural hair color and clean-shaven for fit testing
