Location: Bismarck, North Dakota

End Date: 09-14-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $65 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert respiratory care across neonatal to geriatric patients in a Level II trauma center
Manage ventilators and advanced respiratory equipment including Airvo, PB 840, PB 980, Hamilton C1, and V-60
Collaborate closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to deliver outstanding patient outcomes
Work independently while exercising sound clinical judgment in ICU, NICU, surgical, and medical units
Support patients throughout the entire facility, from ER to inpatient and outpatient settings

Qualifications

Current RRT or CRT credential required
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
Active North Dakota state respiratory therapy license
Proven NICU experience essential
Ability to work independently and make strong clinical decisions

Knowledge & Skills

Strong ventilator management skills across multiple platforms
Experience with neonatal, pediatric, and adult respiratory care
Comfort working in high-acuity settings including ICU and trauma
Excellent communication and collaboration with physicians and care teams
