Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM with varied start times between 8:30 AM and 10:30 AM, occasional weekend coverage required

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert physical therapy services across acute care units including ICU, MedSurg, Oncology, and Cardiology
Deliver hands-on care to ventilated patients and those recovering from cardiac surgeries and total joint replacements
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create individualized treatment plans
Support patients through every stage of recovery in a fast-paced hospital setting
Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner EMR

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapist license in California
BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of acute care physical therapy experience
Comfortable working with ventilated patients and in ICU settings
Experience with orthopedic and total joint rehabilitation preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and treatment planning skills across multiple specialties
Ability to manage a varied caseload including ICU, oncology, and cardiac patients
Familiarity with Cerner EMR documentation
Excellent communication and collaboration with rehab techs and nursing staff
