Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, every other weekend (Days: Saturday-Sunday; Nights: Friday-Saturday), holidays rotate with permanent staff

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $77 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert care to mothers and babies in a busy Birthing Center handling 150-180 births monthly
Independently attend deliveries and circulate in C-sections with confidence
Assist with catching and transitioning newborns while ensuring their safety and comfort
Titrate Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin drips to support high-risk patients
Collaborate with 24/7 OB hospitalists, neonatologists, and anesthesia providers for seamless care
Float within the LDRP unit to support postpartum moms and babies as needed

Qualifications

Active Washington or compact RN license
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Intermediate or advanced fetal heart monitoring preferred
Minimum 2 years of LDRP experience; 1 year considered with multiple prior travel assignments
Comfortable attending deliveries independently and circulating C-sections

Knowledge & Skills

LDRP nursing expertise
High-risk OB care including preeclampsia, diabetes, and substance use support
Titration of Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin
Centricity perinatal EFM system
Strong communication and adaptability to unit workflows
