Location: Canon City, Colorado

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Day shift and night shift, self-scheduling with balanced schedule provided to manager, 3 weekends in a 6-week schedule, rotating holidays, call requirement per census

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $75 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to laboring mothers and newborns in a supportive LDRP environment
Monitor and titrate critical drips including Pitocin, Magnesium, Insulin, and D10
Interpret fetal monitoring strips and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
Collaborate with a close-knit team to support high-BMI, diabetic, and substance-use patients
Float within Zone 1 facilities when census allows to support colleagues across the region

Qualifications

Active Colorado or compact RN license
ACLS, NRP, AWHONN EFM, and STABLE certifications required
LDRP experience strongly preferred
Ability to read and interpret fetal monitoring strips independently
Willingness to take call and work rotating weekends and holidays

Knowledge & Skills

LDRP nursing experience
Fetal monitoring interpretation
Titration of Pitocin, Magnesium, Insulin, and D10
OBIX EFM system familiarity
Bubble CPAP equipment knowledge
