Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor cardiac telemetry and interpret dysrhythmia strips each shift
Provide compassionate care for patients with CHF, respiratory issues, GI conditions, diabetes, and post-cath needs
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver safe, high-quality patient outcomes
Float to East Campus or PCU when needed to support excellent patient care across the facility
Document accurately in Cerner and communicate effectively with the care team

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation experience
Ability to pass the dysrhythmia exam within two attempts before contract start
Cerner experience preferred due to limited orientation

Knowledge & Skills

Reading and interpreting basic telemetry strips
Experience with CVA and TIA patients
Total joint replacement care experience
Comfort managing set-rate drips such as Diltiazem/Cardizem
Strong assessment and communication skills
