Location: Brattleboro, Vermont

Contract Type: Perm

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, daytime hours with light call schedule approximately 7 days per month

Bill Rate: $300,000 - $400,000 annually

Roles & Responsibilities

Diagnose and manage diverse urologic conditions including kidney stones, BPH, incontinence, and urinary tract infections
Perform surgical procedures in modern operating rooms with thorough preoperative planning and postoperative follow-up
Provide hospital and emergency room consultations while collaborating with specialists for comprehensive patient care
Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive care strategies
Maintain accurate documentation while adhering to hospital policies and professional standards
Engage in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development

Qualifications

Board certified or board eligible in Urology required
Active Vermont medical license must be obtained prior to start
Completion of an accredited urology residency program in the United States or Canada
Clean malpractice history required
Minimum 1 year of experience - new grads not accepted
Must live within 1-hour commute of Brattleboro

Education

Completion of an accredited urology residency program in the United States or Canada

Knowledge & Skills

Comprehensive knowledge of adult and pediatric urologic conditions
Proficiency in surgical procedures and preoperative planning
Strong communication skills for patient and family education
Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Commitment to quality improvement and professional development

Benefits

Salary range of $300,000 - $400,000 annually based on experience and market competitiveness
Agency placement fee: 25K capped
