Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM and 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional intermediate-level care to cardiac and vascular patients
Titrate critical drips including Amio, nitro, nicardipine, epi, and cardizem to maintain patient stability
Interpret telemetry strips and respond promptly to cardiac rhythm changes
Support post-surgical CVICU patients during their first 24 hours of recovery
Collaborate with cardiologists, hospitalists, and intensivists around the clock
Float to same or lower acuity units as needed to support hospital-wide care

Qualifications

Active RN license with at least 1 year of experience in cardiac or vascular patient populations
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Comfortable with titratable drips and telemetry interpretation
Valid driver's license for radius verification at time of submittal
Willingness to comply with no artificial nails policy in patient care areas

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry interpretation and cardiac rhythm monitoring
Titration of cardiac and vasoactive medications
Post-surgical recovery care for CVICU step-down patients
BiPAP, CPAP, and oxygen delivery support
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
