Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 48

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to oncology and trauma PCU patients
Monitor and titrate drips including insulin and Cardizem as needed
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of PT/OT, case managers, and educators
Float to same-level med/surg and PCU units to support patient care across the hospital
Perform hourly rounding to enhance patient experience and safety
Manage ventilators and hemodynamic monitoring equipment with real-time training support

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and ONS/ONCC certifications required
Minimum 1 year of PCU or oncology nursing experience
EPIC experience within the last 6 months preferred
First-time travelers welcome

Knowledge & Skills

Strong teamwork and a genuine passion for patient care
Comfort with chemotherapy administration and oncology protocols
Ability to manage ventilators and hemodynamic lines
Flexible and adaptable when floating between units
Excellent communication across diverse patient populations
