Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts with start times at 6:30 AM, 3:00 PM, and 11:30 PM; 4 weekend shifts required in an 8-week period

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to neuro rehab patients recovering from TBI, stroke, and brain tumor resection
Partner closely with patients and families to support their healing journey
Administer IV therapy, manage wounds, and coordinate interdisciplinary rounds
Float to various MedSurg units as needed while maintaining excellent patient outcomes
Collaborate with rehab physicians and the care team to create personalized treatment plans

Qualifications

Active RN license with strong MedSurg experience required
BLS certification required
Rehab experience preferred
Must pass dysrhythmia exam prior to acceptance
Comfortable with high-level communication and patient-family partnership

Knowledge & Skills

Cerner EMR proficiency
Neuro rehab patient care expertise
Strong sterile field technique for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes
Ability to work in a busy, interdisciplinary environment
Flexibility to float across MedSurg units
