Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, every other weekend (Days: Saturday-Sunday; Nights: Friday-Saturday), holidays rotate with permanent staff

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $77 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert care to mothers and babies in a busy Birthing Center handling 150-180 births monthly
Attend deliveries independently and circulate during C-sections with confidence and skill
Assist with catching and transitioning newborns while ensuring a smooth start for every family
Titrate critical drips including Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin to support high-risk patients
Collaborate with a 24/7 in-house OB team and anesthesia providers for seamless patient care
Support laboring patients from 33 weeks and beyond, including those with preeclampsia, diabetes, and complex social needs

Qualifications

Active RN license in Washington or compact license
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Intermediate or advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring preferred
Minimum 2 years of LDRP experience; 1 year considered with multiple prior travel assignments
Comfortable functioning independently in both labor and postpartum settings

Knowledge & Skills

LDRP experience with ability to manage high-risk pregnancies
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills for complex maternal-newborn cases
Ability to read and interpret fetal monitoring strips
Experience with Centricity perinatal EFM system a plus
Adaptable to new workflows, policies, and constructive feedback
