Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $84 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to laboring mothers and newborns in a supportive environment
Circulate C-sections with confidence and precision alongside the surgical team
Monitor fetal heart rates and respond quickly to any changes
Float between Labor & Delivery and Postpartum units to support the entire mother-baby journey
Collaborate with OB techs, charge nurses, and on-call specialists to deliver exceptional outcomes

Qualifications

Active California RN license
Current ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN certifications
Minimum 2 years of recent L&D/PP experience
Proven ability to circulate C-sections
Cerner EMR experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong fetal monitoring interpretation
Comfortable with high-risk deliveries at 34 weeks and beyond
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to honor individualized birth plans
Adaptable to floating between L&D and Postpartum units
