Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert care for high-risk laboring and antepartum patients
Perform vaginal exams and internal monitor placement with confidence
Circulate and recover C-section patients independently
Titrate critical drips including Magnesium Sulfate, Pitocin, Insulin, and Heparin
Float to Mother-Baby and other units as census requires
Read and interpret fetal monitor strips using ACLS and AFM skills
Collaborate with 24/7 OB, Neonatology, and Anesthesia teams

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nevada or compact state
BLS, ACLS, AFM, and NRP certifications required
Cerner charting experience preferred
Minimum one year of recent L&D experience in a Level III facility
Comfortable working independently with high-risk obstetric patients

Knowledge & Skills

Vaginal exam and internal monitor placement
High-risk labor and delivery management
Antepartum patient care
C-section circulation and recovery
Fetal monitoring and strip interpretation
Drip titration of Magnesium Sulfate, Pitocin, Insulin, and Heparin
Cerner electronic documentation
