Location: Breckenridge, Minnesota

Start Date: 06-01-2026

End Date: 08-31-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, D/N rotate, weekends and holidays as scheduled

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to patients in both the ER and MedSurg swing units
Respond quickly and effectively to a variety of emergency situations in a trauma level IV setting
Collaborate with physicians and the care team to ensure seamless patient experiences
Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret strips with confidence using Mindray equipment
Float between ER and MedSurg swing beds to support the entire unit as needed

Qualifications

Active RN license in Minnesota or compact state
Minimum 2 years of ER experience plus previous MedSurg experience
Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications required
PALS certification preferred
Comfortable working in a small, close-knit facility with 4 beds and 2 trauma bays

Knowledge & Skills

Strong cardiac monitoring and strip interpretation skills
Ability to manage vents, CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow equipment
Experience with trauma, STEMI, and stroke patients
Flexibility to float between ER and MedSurg swing units
Excellent communication and teamwork in a low-volume, high-impact setting
