Location: Omaha, Nebraska

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts including 3:00 PM - 3:00 AM, with additional options of 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM, 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM, and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM; weekends and holidays vary based on department needs

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert emergency care to patients in a high-acuity Level I Trauma Center
Monitor and respond to critical conditions including trauma, sepsis, chest pain, and strokes
Administer common ER drips and medications with precision and care
Collaborate with physicians, mid-levels, and support staff to deliver seamless patient care
Float to the OBS unit and Creighton Freestanding ER to broaden your experience
Interpret cardiac strips and utilize telemetry monitoring to ensure patient safety

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications required
NRP certification preferred
Recent Level I or Level II trauma experience required
Valid driver's license for radius verification

Knowledge & Skills

Strong ER nursing and trauma care expertise
Stroke care and TPA administration knowledge
Patient monitoring and drip management skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
Comfortable reading and interpreting cardiac strips
