Registered Nurse - CVOR – UHC Staffing

Registered Nurse - CVOR

Location: Stockton, California

Start Date: 06-15-2026

End Date: 09-14-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 8 and 12 hour shifts with weeknight call starting at 6:30 PM until 6:00 AM the next morning (minimum 2 nights of call per 4 week schedule) and every 2nd/3rd weekend call

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $95 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional care in our busy CVOR with 23-25 cases daily across multiple specialties
Collaborate with a skilled team running up to 10 operating rooms including dedicated heart rooms
Support our strong Open Heart Surgery program while handling diverse cases from General to Vascular and Ortho
Float within the OR department as needed to support team success and patient care
Maintain readiness for urgent cases including trauma situations while ensuring the highest safety standards

Qualifications

Active RN license with BLS and ACLS certifications required
CNOR certification preferred
Cerner experience required
No first time travelers
CVOR experience with ability to work in general OR preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of Cerner electronic health records system
Expertise in cardiovascular operating room procedures and protocols
Ability to handle high-volume surgical days with 23-25 cases
Comfort working with diverse surgical specialties from General to Open Heart
Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment
