Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 10-hour shifts with overnight call once a week and 3 weekend days per month as needed

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $97 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Scrub in for complex cardiac procedures including CABG and valve surgeries
Monitor and interpret EKG strips throughout each case
Collaborate with surgeons and the OR team in a fast-paced environment
Provide expert care during 4-6 heart surgeries daily across 4 suites
Respond to overnight call and weekend coverage needs to support patient care

Qualifications

Active RN license in California
BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience with strong scrubbing skills
First-time travelers welcome
Cerner EMR experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Expert scrubbing skills in cardiovascular operating room procedures
Confident EKG interpretation and telemetry monitoring
Ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced surgical environment
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
