Location: Breckenridge, Minnesota

Start Date: 06-15-2026

End Date: 09-14-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: 24 hours on, 24 hours on-call (10 minutes response), followed by 96 hours off; schedule may change with 30 days notice

Hours per Week: 48

Candidate Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver professional and compassionate care to patients of all ages in pre-hospital and hospital settings
Perform thorough patient assessments and take appropriate action according to treatment guidelines
Administer medications safely using the five patient rights and standing orders
Document assessments, treatments, and patient status in a timely manner
Coordinate patient care with ancillary departments and ensure smooth transfers between facilities
Supervise EMTs and bystanders while maintaining safety during emergency responses
Adjust workload and staffing needs as situations evolve to ensure optimal care

Qualifications

Active Paramedic License with Minnesota license required
NREMT-P certification
ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
Either North Dakota license or Compact license with proof of Privilege to Practice
ALS level of care experience
Preferred intubation experience

Knowledge & Skills

Patient assessment and individualized care planning
Medication administration and drip titration
Equipment operation including CPAP, BiPAP, and ventilators
Documentation and communication during patient transfers
Working with trauma, chest pain, respiratory distress, falls, and abdominal pain cases
